የሞኤንኮ ኩባንያ ሁለት የቶዮታ አንቡላንሶችን ግምታቸው 4,000,000 የሆኑ እና 1.3 ሚሊዮን ብር የሚገመት የጽዳት ዕቃዎችን በስጦታ አበረከተ
የሞኤንኮ ኩባንያ በዛሬው ዕለት ግንቦት 1 ቀን 2012 ዓ.ም ግምታቸው 4,000,000 የሚሆኑ ሁለት ቶዮታ አንቡላንሶችን እና 1.3 ሚሊዮን ብር የሚገመት የጽዳት ሳሙናዎችን እና ሳኒታይዘሮችን በሃገር አቀፍ ደረጃ ለተቋቋመው የብሄራዊ የኮቪድ መከላከል ስራ ድጋፍ አስተባባሪ ኮሚቴ አስረክበዋል፡፡ ከዚህ በተጨማሪ የኩባንያው ሰራተኞች በጤና ጥበቃ እና በህብረተሰብ ጤና ኢንስቲቲውት በኩል በተደረገው የበጎ ፈቃደኞች የደም ልገሳ ጥሪ መሰረት ሰራተኞች የደም ልገሳ አድርገዋል፡፡
የኩባንየው ዋና ስራ አስኪያጅ Mr. ፍራንሲስ አግቦንላሆር ስጦታውን ለሰላም ሚኒስትር ወ/ሮ ሙፈሪያት ካሚል ያስረከቡ ሲሆን በንግግራቸውም የሞኤንኮ ኩባንያ በኢትዮጲያ ውስጥ 61 ዓመታትን ያስቆጠረ ሲሆን ስራ ፈጠራን በማበረታታት እና በመደገፍ፣ ለሰራተኞች የስራ እድልን በመፍጠር ፣ ዓመታዊ ታክስን እና ግብርን በአግባቡ በመክፈል እና ኃላፊነትን በመወጣት በተጨማሪም ማህበራዊ ኃላፊነቱን በተለያየ ጊዜ እየተወጣ የሚገኝ ተቋም ሲሆን ይህንንም ድጋፍ የኮሮና ወረርሽኝ በሽታን ለመከላከል ለሚደረገው ጥረት በኩባንያችን እና ቅርንጫፎቻን በሚገኙበት ቦታዎች ስም ድጋፍ በማድረጋችን ደስተኛ ነን ብለዋል፡፡

የሞኤንኮ ኩባንያ በኢትዮጲያ ውስጥ ከተቋቋመ 61 ዓመታትን የስቆጠረ ሲሆን በዋናነት በእንግሊዝ አገር የሚገኘው የኢንችኬፕ ኩባንያ አባል ነው፡፡ የሞኬንኮ ኩባንያ ከቶዮታ ውጪ ከ 20 በላይ ብራንዶችን የሚያስመጣ ሲሆን ከነዚህም መሃል የኮማትሱ የግንባታ ስራ ማሽነሪዎች ፣ የ ኒው ሆላንድ የእርሻ መሳርያዎች ፣ ሱዙኪ ሞተር ሳክሎች እና የከሚንስ ጄኔሬተር በማስመጣት ይታወቃል፡፡
ኩባንያው በሃገሪቱ ውስጥ በተለያዩ ክልሎች የሚገኙ 9 ቅርንጫፎች እና 15 ዲለሮች አሉት፡፡ ኩባንያው ማህበራዊ ኃላፊነትን ከመወጣት አኳያ የተለያየ ተግባራትን እያከናወነ የሚገኝ ሲሆን ከዚህም ውስጥ በተለያየ ሁኔታ ውስጥ ተቸግረው የሚገኙ እናቶችና ሕጻናትን በሚረዳው የ ማዘር ኤንድ ቻይልድ ሪሃቢሊቴሽን ሴንተር በቋሚነት ይደግፋል፡፡
የሞኤንኮ ኩባንያ ከዚህ ቀደም በ ቤተመንግስት በተዘጋጀው የከፍተኛ ግብር ከፋዮች የምስጋና እና የሽልማት መርሃ ግብር ላይ በመገኘት በ አግባቡ ኃላፊነታቸውን ከሚወጡ ተቋማት መሃል የ ፕላቲኒየም ዋንጫ ተሸላሚ መሆኑ ይታወሳል፡፡
MOENCO Donates Ambulances, Sanitary Items for the Fight against Covid-19
Saturday May 9, 2020. Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. In support of the Government and People of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia’s fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, the Motor and Engineering Company of Ethiopia (MOENCO) has donated Two Toyota Land Cruiser Ambulances worth in the region of Birr 4 million as well as personal hygiene and sanitary materials like soaps and hand sanitizers valued at Birr 1.3 million.
The Company handed over the two ambulances and the personal hygiene materials to the Covid-19 Resource Mobilization Committee today, represented by Minister for Peace, Mrs. Muferihat Kamil.
In his remarks at the event which took place at the MOENCO Head Office in Addis Ababa, the Managing Director, Mr. Francis Agbonlahor said “MOENCO is proud to have had the opportunity to play an impactful role in the social and economic development of the country for the past 61 years. MOENCO is dedicated to supporting government social programs, to job creation and the acquisition of skills, diligently paying our due taxes, investing in the mobility of the economy through our superior quality products and services and engaging in corporate social responsibility initiatives that positively impact lives. We are thankful to the Government for mobilizing intensive efforts across the country to fight the Covid-19 pandemic and we are pleased to be able to make these donations today to the Resource Mobilization Committee in support of these efforts by the Federal and Regional Governments”
