ዛሬ ሰኔ 19 ቀን 2012 ዓ.ም ኩባንያችን ለታላቁ ሕዳሴ ግድብ ግንባታ ህዝባዊ ተሳትፎ አስተባባሪ ብ/ም/ቤ/ጽ/ቤት ግምቱ 2.2 ሚሊዮን ብር (ከቀረጥ ነፃ) የሚገመት የቶዮታ ሃላክስ ተሽከርካሪ ያበረከተውን ስጦታ ለባለ ዕድለኛው የዳውሮ ዞን ነዋሪ ለሆነው የጤና ባለሙያ ለአቶ አብርሃም ታናሹ የድርጅታችን ዋና ስራ አስኪያጅ ሚስተር ፍራንሲስ አግቦንላሆር የንግድ ሚኒስቴር አቶ መላኩ አለበል ፣የታላቁ ህዳሴ ግድብ ግንባታ ህዝባዊ ተሳትፎ አስተባባሪ ብ/ም/ቤ/ጽ/ቤት ኃላፊ ወ/ ሮ ሮማን ገ/ስላሴ እና ሌሎች የመንግስት የስራ ኃላፊዎች በተገኙበት ስጦታውን በታላቁ ህዳሴ ግድብ ግንባታ ህዝባዊ ተሳትፎ አስተባባሪ ብ/ም/ቤ/ጽ/ቤት ቅጥር ግቢ ውስጥ አስረክበዋል፡፡

MOENCO Handover One Toyota Hilux To The Ethiopia Office Of The National Council For The Coordination Of Public Participation On The Construction Of The Dam 8100A Lottery Winner
Today June 26, 2020. Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. In support of the Government and People of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in support of the construction of the Great Ethiopian Renaissance Dam Project our Company has donated one Toyota Hilux worth about Birr 2.2 million (Duty free).
Our Company managing Director Mr.Francis Agbonlahor handed over the vehicle to the winner Ato Abreham Tanashu from Dawro Zone, Ethiopia in the presence of HE Ministry of Trade Melaku Alebel and HE W/O Roman Gebreselassie the Ethiopia Office of The National Council for the Coordination of Public Participation on The Construction of The Dam Head.
In his remarks at the event which took place at the GERD project Office in Addis Ababa, HE Minister Melaku Alebel said “Congratulations to the winner” and gave his gratitude for the donation and appreciated MOENCO for the gift.
Ato Seife Getahun, Finance Director of the company, said congratulations to the winner and said MOENCO has been playing an impactful roles in the social economic development of the country for the past 61 years since its inception; devoted to supporting government laudable programs including this historical event.

የሞኤንኮ ኩባንያ በኢትዮጲያ ውስጥ ከተቋቋመ 61 ዓመታትን የስቆጠረ ሲሆን በዋናነት በእንግሊዝ አገር የሚገኘው የኢንችኬፕ ኩባንያ አባል ነው፡፡ የሞኬንኮ ኩባንያ ከቶዮታ ውጪ ከ 20 በላይ ብራንዶችን የሚያስመጣ ሲሆን ከነዚህም መሃል የኮማትሱ የግንባታ ስራ ማሽነሪዎች ፣ የ ኒው ሆላንድ የእርሻ መሳርያዎች ፣ ሱዙኪ ሞተር ሳክሎች እና የከሚንስ ጄኔሬተር በማስመጣት ይታወቃል፡፡

MOENCO Donates Ambulances, Sanitary Items for the Fight against Covid-19
Saturday May 9, 2020. Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. In support of the Government and People of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia’s fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, the Motor and Engineering Company of Ethiopia (MOENCO) has donated Two Toyota Land Cruiser Ambulances worth in the region of Birr 4 million as well as personal hygiene and sanitary materials like soaps and hand sanitizers valued at Birr 1.3 million.
The Company handed over the two ambulances and the personal hygiene materials to the Covid-19 Resource Mobilization Committee today, represented by Minister for Peace, Mrs. Muferihat Kamil.
In his remarks at the event which took place at the MOENCO Head Office in Addis Ababa, the Managing Director, Mr. Francis Agbonlahor said “MOENCO is proud to have had the opportunity to play an impactful role in the social and economic development of the country for the past 61 years. MOENCO is dedicated to supporting government social programs, to job creation and the acquisition of skills, diligently paying our due taxes, investing in the mobility of the economy through our superior quality products and services and engaging in corporate social responsibility initiatives that positively impact lives. GARDX Vehicle protection system demonstration event
On Wednesday Feb 26, 2020, our Marketing and CEX department in collaboration with Inchcape PLC & GARDX arranged the demonstration of the complete vehicle protection system ( VPS ) called GARDX to MOENCO employees selected from different departments .
The demonstration was conducted on Wednesday, Feb 26 and Thursday Feb 27, 2020 first with the opening remark of Marketing and CEX director Daniel Zenebe by welcoming participants, introducing the International Development Manager of Gardx ( Mr. Richard Hage ) and giving short briefing about the product to attendants.
The event was a two days program on Wednesday and Thursday incorporating 80 participants divided in three groups from Sales, after sales, and branches. The two day program contained a classroom and demonstration secession.
Participants were able to see the live application of GARDX demonstrated by the GARDX expert and our paint technicians got a good opportunity to engage with the expert, ask questions and sharing experiences.

GO Green Ethiopia
Following the national 4 billion trees planting project which 
was officially launched by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, MOENCO’s employees planted over 500 trees on Monday July 29, 2019, at Adwa Park Addis Ababa. The campaign is set to mobilize national reforestation program backing the National Greening Initiative. Mr Abiy kicked off the tree-planting exercise which is taking part in 1,000 sites across the country. And it planned to break world record through planting 200 million tree saplings on July 29, 2019 under the auspices of Green Legacy national project.
As part of this program , A press conference was held in Sheraton Hotel in Addis Ababa On Friday July 26,2019, 
with eight companies including Coca Cola , OCP group , National Tobacco enterprise ( JTI ) , United beverages , Cepheus & Pitterds.
